I joined CRaNHR in February 2013.
I hold a Master of Arts in Sociology from Laurentian University's Applied Social Research Program where I studied the effects of social policy on connections between post-secondary education, work and poverty.
I work primarily on the Community Engaged Medical Education: Systematic Thematic Review (CEMESTR) project with the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. I am also working with the Canadian Interprofessional Health leadership Collaborative on promoting community engagement in health professional education.
Prior to working with CRaNHR, I was employed in public health where I gained experience with qualitative and quantitative research as well as public health mapping. I have worked as a researcher in the area of social policy in the municipal sector and with Laurentian University. I also occasionally work as a sessional lecturer in the labour studies program at Laurentian University.
