I joined CRaNHR in August 2008.
I completed a Master's degree in Human Development from Laurentian University in 2008, and have an undergraduate degree in Psychology.
Prior to joining CRaNHR, I studied the availability of learning opportunities for elderly francophone populations in Northern Ontario and the degree to which these opportunities impact their global health. I am also participating in the study on the effect of action video game play on a verity of cognitive tasks.
Fluently bilingual, I have been the coordinator for French for the Future, an annual event which brings together French and French Immersion high school students and strengthens the importance of bilingualisms in the workforce through interactive workshops and group discussions. Additionally, I am a part-time teacher of psychology, sociology and information technology at Collège Boréal and have also taught research methods and epidemiology at Cambrian College.
